I have never had a problem and get good life out of my topends. Then do the same thing again.I usually do this about 3 times and then its wide open time. After about 20 mins stop and let it cool down. Get in a field or something of that nature.I kinda slowly go up to 1/2 throttle in around 2nd gear and then let off the throttle completely.the tad bit of "Compression Braking" that you do get from the 2-stroke helps set the rings. Then go ride the darn thing for 20 mins or so. ![]() I always rebuild with a Wiseco piston so I warm it up until the Radiators are nice and hot to prevent a Cold Siezure. I have never been one to let my bike sit on the stand with the motor idling to break a new piston/rings in.
